Maharashtra CM Meets Salman Khan After Shooting Incident
Mumbai: In a high-profile visit, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan today at his Bandra residence. This comes after a brazen shooting incident outside Khan’s home last Sunday rattled the city.
Shinde entered Khan’s heavily guarded Galaxy Apartments amidst tightened security. Inside, he met not only Khan but also his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, along with politician Baba Siddiqui and his son Zeeshan.
Emerging from the meeting, Shinde addressed the media with a firm stance. “The Maharashtra government stands firmly with Salman Khan,” he declared. “The recent attack was a cowardly act, and we assure you, justice will be served.”
The two suspects apprehended in the case are believed to be affiliated with the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail, has been linked to several high-profile killings.
Vowing to dismantle such criminal networks, Shinde asserted, “Maharashtra will not tolerate gang violence or gang wars. We will take decisive action to eradicate this menace,” said the CM.
